Hotime Saga v0.15 Update September Part 1

Hey everyone!

First off, a massive thank you to everyone for the incredible support you showed us with the first version of our game.  🙌 This month, we’re excited to bring you even more content and some new systems that we know you’re going to love. Plus, we’ve tackled all those bugs you reported from the last version, so things should be running a lot smoother now.

We’ve also listened to your feedback and added some quality-of-life features you’ve been asking for—like the narrator mute button and the ability to skip days. We hope these changes make your experience even better!

Now, a quick heads-up: we’ve decided to split this update into two parts. While we’ll always be sharing content in the free version, we want to give our Patreon supporters a little extra value. So from now on, the Patreon version will always be two updates ahead of the free version. It’s our way of saying thanks for all the love and support!

Here’s what you can expect in this update:

  • 1 New Group Chapter for Kate.
  • 1 New Outfit for Claire.
  • 3 New Outfits for Kate.
  • 1 New Glory Hole Scene at the Private Club.
  • New Skill System added.
  • New Mute Narrator feature.
  • New Skip Day function.
  • Numerous bug fixes.

We hope you enjoy everything we’ve packed into this update, and as always, we can’t wait to hear what you think! Stay tuned for more content, and thank you again for being part of this journey with us. ❤️

Somehow I’m much more disappointed than before, really.

If criticism is unwelcome I’d rather you all just speak up and say so. If I’m wrong in what I say than you should clarify. Censorship is lame and you’re even more lame for resorting to such things.

Hi TheRealArma! We appreciate your feedback, and we want to clarify that constructive criticism is always welcome. It helps us improve and make the game better for everyone. However, your previous comments were seen as more negative than constructive, and that’s why they were addressed the way they were.

For example, saying something like "your art sucks" isn't helpful because it doesn't give us anything to work on. But saying, "I think there's something off with art X, maybe try Y instead" helps us understand what can be improved. That's the kind of feedback we encourage and are always happy to engage with.

It was never our intention to make you feel disappointed, and we apologize if the moderation came across the wrong way. To show that we value your input, we've lifted the ban and would love for you to share your thoughts in a way that can lead to improvements. We're always open to feedback that helps us grow, and we hope you'll feel comfortable contributing in that way.

I appreciate your response, truly. I'm also incredibly appreciative that the block was lifted as that especially rubbed me the wrong way and left a rather negative opinion, despite the games quality being as high as it is.

I've yet to leave actual feedback on the game itself, which I do apologize for. I prefer to leave comments and such for when I finish the content that's presently available.  But what little I have played has genuinely been high quality and the game does stand out well above most titles you're bound to see.

I do wish there was a PM/DM system was in place so I could explain things better as it genuinely wasn't meant to be negative for negativity sake. But, I won't bring it up again here since things were resolved and I do wish the best for this project, as well as you (and your team if you aren't a solo dev!).

With all that being said, even if I haven't gotten very far yet, I'm looking forward to future versions!

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, TheRealArma! We’re really glad we could clear things up. Our goal is to keep this space positive and open to constructive feedback.

It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying the game so far! We’ve got some exciting stuff lined up for future updates, and we hope you’ll love what’s coming next.

We appreciate your thoughts and are looking forward to hearing more from you when you’re ready!

Thanks again for the support and for sticking with us, means a ton!

P.S. - A DM system would definitely be handy. Itch.io, you listening?
